How does Daskapital handle taxes on income earned by investors from Invoice Financing and Rent Advance?

Income obtained through Invoice Financing and Rent Advance is considered, for tax purposes, as capital gains, resulting from the difference between the amount invested and the amount redeemed.

The capital refers to the initial amount invested. A capital gain is the profit realised when an investment is sold or redeemed for an amount greater than the initial value. The assignment of receivables in which the debtor is notified of their obligation to pay the assignee means that, at the time of payment, this is made by a third party (the debtor) and not by the assignor, which implies the existence, not of investment income such as interest, for example, but of a capital gain.

Daskapital does not withhold tax on these capital gains, and the investor is responsible for declaring them to the relevant tax authorities.

At the beginning of each year, the investor will receive a detailed statement of all their income and any tax withholdings from the previous year, containing all the information necessary for their income tax return.
