How it works

Flowchart of Daskapital’s factoring process, from supplier to investor.
  1. Companies (Supplier), that seek to fund their working capital, use Daskapital’s platform to anticipate the payment of their receivables by uploading the invoices they wish to sell and anticipate, signalling the maximum discount their willing to accept and providing all info and documents.

  2. The invoice payer, the Supplier's Client, is notified and validates (or refuses) the invoice.

  3. Based on the analysis of the information provided by the Suppliers and independent third-party financial information, Daskapital assesses the risk and approves each operation, providing all necessary risk assessment information to the Investors, namely a risk score.

  4. Upon Daskapital's approval, a limited-time auction is created in which Investors choose to make offers to buy a part of the invoice, deciding how much to invest and signalling their minimum discount.

  5. When an auction is successfully completed and the final financing conditions are established, the Supplier gets funded and receives the value of the invoice minus the resulting discount, which is always equal to or below the defined maximum discount.

  6. At the invoice maturity (for example in 60 days), the Client pays the invoice in full and the Investors are refunded of their investment.

Frequently Asked Questions

Dasfactoring is a crowdfactoring solution for short-term financing that allows companies to anticipate the payment of invoices receivable, obtaining immediate liquidity. Dasfactoring is managed by Daskapital España S.L., a subsidiary of Das Kapital Lda.

In the Dasfactoring collaborative financing model, companies publish the credits they hold on their customers on the Daskapital platform, and investors compete with each other to purchase, at a discount, part or all of the invoice. Through an auction process, they define the amount they wish to invest and the minimum return they require, and companies will be financed by the group of investors demanding the lowest interest rate.

On the invoice due date, the debtors (the company's customers) pay the credit, returning the capital invested to the investors. The profit comes from the difference between the amount invested in the invoice seller and the amount received from the invoice payer, which corresponds to the discount.

Dasfactoring offers advantages for both investors and companies.

For investors, it allows them to diversify their portfolio with short-term investments and above-average returns, choosing the invoices in which to invest (and the consequent level of risk and maturity) and the minimum rate of return they require, with security and transparency guaranteed by Daskapital, which analyses and verifies the solvency of the payers of the invoices provided by the assignors.

For companies, it guarantees immediate liquidity without resorting to banks, allowing them to finance themselves at even lower interest rates if they are assigning credits on companies with lower risk than themselves, as the associated risk, as perceived by the investor, is that of the invoice debtor.
It can be used by companies as a way to balance the risk level and maturities of their accounts receivable.

Of course, you can repay your loan early at any time. To do so, all you need to do is transfer the funds to the IBAN of your Wallet and inform Daskapital (support@daskapital.eu) about your intention to make an early repayment for a specific credit.

Financing through invoice discounting allows your firm to receive funds based on the total value of your invoices, though you will pay interest equivalent to the discount you choose. In essence, you are selling an invoice for a bit less than its face value.

When you discount your invoices through Daskapital, the discount rate is determined by an auction. The final rate will fall between the highest discount you are willing to accept and the lowest discount that investors are willing to offer.

After the auction concludes, Daskapital will promptly transfer 90% of the invoice's face value to you, taking into account the discount and any applicable fees. The remaining 10% will be released to you once your customer's payment has been verified.

It’s important to understand that your invoice will only be financed once investor offers that cover the entire required amount have been secured.
