How does the identity validation process (KYC) work?

Identity verification involves submitting a copy of an admissible, valid identity document to the platform.

Accepted documents:

  • Citizens of other countries: Passport

  • Citizens of the European Union: National ID Card, Passport or Driver's Licence;

  • Citizens of the United Kingdom, United States and Canada: Passport or Driver's Licence.

Rules for a correct submission of the identification document:

  • The formats accepted for uploading your document are JPG/JPEG/PNG/PDF. Documents smaller than 32 KB and larger than 7 MB are not accepted.

  • Do not cut the corners: Make sure that all 4 corners of the document are visible.

  • Make sure that the name and surname(s) are entered exactly as they appear on the ID document.

  • Make sure the document is within the validity period.

  • Make sure all the information is legible, in particular the MRZ band: make sure there are no blurs, flashes or fingers on the submitted copy.

  • Send double-sided: If the document has two sides, send us both (even if it's the blank page in the passport).
