How does Daskapital assess credit risk?

Daskapital carries out a rigorous risk and/or economic viability analysis of each financing request or investment opportunity before they become available for investment on the platform.

The analysis is carried out on the basis of a set of relevant information requested by Daskapital from the promoters at the time of the financing request, as well as on the basis of independent information provided by partners specialising in financial information and risk/credit analysis.

Through a partnership with Iberinform (the information subsidiary of Atradius Crédito y Caución, a world leader in credit insurance), Daskapital analyses a detailed report of information on companies and their sector, including accounting, financial and commercial information, ratio analysis, information on incidents and lawsuits, among other information, and takes into account the information resulting from predictive and analytical statistical models, such as the Risk Rating (Risk/Credit Score) and the Credit Limit.
All this information is disclosed and made available in the details of each financing request or investment opportunity.

In specific cases, Daskapital may carry out more in-depth risk analyses, involving visits to the promoters' premises, interviews, verification of documentation and the veracity of the information provided, among other steps.

To mitigate the risk, Daskapital usually requires real guarantees (pledges and mortgages) and personal guarantees (guarantors and sureties).

Investment opportunities will only be published on the Daskapital platform if they fulfil the minimum risk criteria and provide an adequate return on the capital invested.
